Res. Asst. PhD HUZEYFE ALKAN

Biography

He was born in Denizli in 1984. He graduated from Denizli Anadolu İmam-Hatip Lisesi in 2002 and Suleyman Demirel University Faculty of Theology in 2006. He worked as a teacher of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge in Tunceli for 4 months. Then he went to the USA by winning the Ministry of National Education scholarship. He studied English language at the University of Delaware for 1 year. In 2010, he completed his master's degree at the University of Utah Middle East Center. Then he returned to Turkiye and started working as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Theology of Dokuz Eylül University. In 2022, at the Graduate School of Social Sciences of the same university, he completed PHD with the title of "The military activities of Prophet Muhammad against heathens in the eyes of orientalists". He currently work as an academician in the department of Islamic History and Arts at the same faculty.
