Biography

My research interests are focused on further understanding the mechanism of oxidative stress, lipid peroxidation, and inflammation-mediated cell and tissue damage in neurodegenerative diseases. I also have an interest in developing preclinical models for neurodegenerative diseases (especially Alzheimer's disease) for utilization in the drug discovery process, in the hope that we can use these models to identify novel drugs to treat these disorders.
