Dr. Eda Avci,
Since 2015, she has been working as a faculty member at Dokuz Eylül University Efes Vocational School.
In 2000, Dr. Avci embarked on her tourism education at a vocational high school, followed by her undergraduate studies at Adnan Menderes University's Tourism and Hotel Management School, specializing in Travel Management and Tourism Guiding.
After completing a Master's degree in Tourism Management at the Social Science Institute at Adnan Menderes University, she earned a PhD in Tourism Management from the same institution in 2018. In 2023, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Tourism.
Dr Avci conducts academic research in the fields of tourist guiding, package tour management, tourism marketing, cultural tourism, faith-based tourism and tourism technologies. She has also been working as a professional tourist guide since 2009.
