Born in Izmir in 1971, Güner graduated from YTU in
1992 and received his master's degree from the same school in 1995 and his
doctorate title from IYTE in 2003. He is still working as an academician in DEU Architecture Department since 2007. He is
interested in Historiography of Modern Architecture, Heritage
and Preservation of Modern Architecture, Contemporary Turkey Architecture as
well
as interdisciplinary issues such as Architectural Photography and Mediterranean
Studies.
In addition to being one of the authors
