Biography

She graduated from bachlors degree in 2001 from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department. In 2003 she participated in “Art Letters” exhibition at Albrech Dürer Gesselschaft in the frame of 100th Anniversary of Albrecht Dürer in Nürnberg. In 2004 she participated in Plein-Air International Art Colony in Mirabel, France. She finished her Master degree thesis “Post-1980 Experimental Approaches in Graphic Design” in 2006 and opened first solo exhibition. She finished her PhD thesis “The Transformation Of Typography Into A Design Object In The Process That Brings Design Closer To Art And The Designer Closer To The Artist” in 2014. She opened three solo exhibitions until 2019. She was a member of the jury in “PANGRAM” VII International Student Competition on Font and Calligraphy 2022/2023. She participated in many group and mixed exhibitions, workshops and projects and still working as an Assistant Professor at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department.
