Hakkımızda

Our group mainly focused on simulational or computational studies in spin systems, by the methods of statistical physics.

Spin systems are one of the most studied systems in statistical physics. In early times, spin systems were in very simple structures and they were introduced to explain the behavior of magnetic systems. They have been used frequently to understand critical phenomena and phase transitions. Various models have been transformed into various types of spin models and solutions have been made in this way.

Today, the place of the spin system in physics goes far beyond just explaining magnetic systems. From quantum entanglement, to various models of economic systems, from brain models and consciousness problems to social dynamics, from some models of information theory to artificial neural networks, there are many probing expansions. Spin systems are increasingly subject to interdisciplinary work.
