Özet

Quantitative methods are a branch of science that evaluates the decision-making processes of people and organizations for the purpose of optimizing and developing strategies. In each of the dimensions of the individual, society, and business, decisions that must be made in line with the objectives are faced with multiple alternatives. Consequently, identifying and selecting the most appropriate action among alternatives in decision-making is a crucial task. This task is accomplished through disciplines such as statistics, optimization, simulation, and computer science, which operations research utilizes (Winston, 2004). Establishing the fundamentals of numerical methods is very important in evaluating and understanding the studies in this field.
