Özet

The regional minimum wage, which was implemented in Turkiye between 1967-1974, has been replaced by a single minimum wage system at the national level since then. However, the regional minimum wage implementation is being brought to the agenda by national and international organizations today. In this study; in Turkey, under the assumption that the regional minimum wage has been implemented, the availability of the cluster analysis methods has been tested in order to determine the regions. Within the framework of the results obtained, it was seen that the regions with the same economic and social conditions are in the same clusters in terms of the variables included in the analysis. In addition, according to the results of the analysis with the data of 2015 and 2016, the ideal number of clusters was determined as 4. On the other hand, in the results of the analysis with the data of 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, it was concluded that the most ideal cluster number was 3.
