Abstract

In this study, high-entropy alloys of AlCoCrFeNiME (ME = B, Cu, Ti) were produced by a self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) starting from metal oxide powder mixtures. The effects of the grain size and initial weight of raw materials with the ratios of the metal oxides on metal recovery values and properties of the final alloys were investigated. The final products were characterized by using XRD, optic microscope and SEM/EDS techniques.
