Özet

The objective of this research is to implement a pure object-oriented database system and to compare with the traditional database management systems. In this study, firstly traditional systems and object oriented systems are analyzed, and then an example object oriented database system is introduced. This example system consists of an object oriented database kernel and a user friendly user interface.
