Abstract

The efficacy of extracts obtained from the inner bark of P. vera plants collected from different regions was investigated in invasive breast cancer cell lines.

In our study, inhibitory concentrations of plant extracts were determined by MTT method. Total antioxidant and oxidant levels were determined, and oxidative stress indices were examined.

Migration test was performed to investigate the effect of the agents used on the motility of the cells. Colony formation test was performed to investigate the effect of extracts on colony forming properties. In our study, we observed that P. vera Urfa Extract was the most effective in reducing migration in MDA MB 231 cell line among the groups.
