Özet

A total of 48 Anatolian rock lizards (20 males, 19 females and 9 juveniles) collected from 6 different localities in and around Izmir were examined for helminth fauna. The analyses revealed helminth infections in 12 individuals (25%), while no helminths were found in 36 individuals (75%). A total of 26 helminth individuals were detected in infected lizard samples. Two cestodes, Mesocestoides spp. and Oochoristica tuberculata three nematode species, Skrjabinodon alcaraziensis, Spauligodon aloisei and Thubunae sp. and one acanthocephala Centrorhynchus sp. were found. Oochoristica tuberculata, Thubunae sp., Skrjabinodon alcaraziensis and Centrorhynchus sp. are reported for the first time from the examined host and are presented as new host records for these species.
