Özet

Ports are to become essential centers offering not only basic port services but also value-added logistics services.
Through value-added logistics services offered, both port and port users gain competitive advantage. Although
there are studies focusing on increasing the competitiveness of ports, there are limited number of studies
emphasizing the value-added services that ports offer to increase their competitiveness or enhance their
compliance with a port-centric logistics perspective. Thus, this study focuses on determining the set of value-added
logistics services revealing if a port is in compliance with port-centric logistics approach. For this purpose, a
systematic literature review is conducted to reveal value-added logistics services provided within the port and its
close vicinity. The study indicates the set of value-added logistics services and provides details of the papers
reached such as their journals and
the countries of the institutions to which the first authors are affiliated.
