Özet

Shipping companies aim to significantly reduce their global warming share within the framework of strict rules that have come into force and will enter. They can only realize this aim by using greener energy resources and limiting fossil fuel usage at their ships. For this reason, wind energy presents one of the preferable alternative energy sources with innovative methods. Although there are fast sailing boats used for racing purposes and leisure sailing, wind cannot find a place in high tonnage and faster commercial ships in today's conditions. Recently, the use of the wind has begun to come into prominence with the measures taken to protect nature with airborne wind energy systems.
