Abstract

This study introduces an alternative approach to combination of the complex line source method with the numerical solution of the integral equation in the wave scattering problems. We replace the real position vector by a complex quantity and generate a complex line source beam. As a result, a strongly localized impedance matrix is obtained. Then the overall running time and the memory storage are reduced drastically. In addition, far zone interactions are limited only to radiation from the small regions near to the edges.
