Today, the concept of sustainability is becoming increasingly important in various fields. Sustainability, defined as the ability to endure, has three key components: economic, environmental, and social sustainability. This study focuses on social sustainability, which has been increasingly recognized in recent years as a crucial element of sustainable development, with a particular emphasis on accessibility, one of its sub- components. The aim of the study is to assess the social sustainability of university campuses, including multifunctional building groups, spatial organization, and accessibility links. Within this framework, accessibility as an aspect of social sustainability was investigated at Dokuz Eylül University's Tınaztepe Campus, which was chosen as the fieldwork of the study. In order to achieve this goal, a survey was conducted among academics and students who use the campus. The results showed that the pedestrian accessibility between the faculties and the common areas of Dokuz Eylül University's Tınaztepe Campus is insufficient, with the problem being related to the sloping terrain of the campus. Furthermore, it was found that the social areas on the campus do not meet the expectations of the participants in terms of interaction, communication, and socialization. The slope of the campus is a barrier to accessing these social areas.
