Özet
Anemia is a significant public health issue for primary care physicians responsible for people's long-term health. Anemia is a common clinical illness in primary care, and clinicians should know its diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. It is frequently discovered during normal physical examinations and laboratory tests. However, suppose the immediate cause of anemia is unknown. In that case, primary care physicians can quickly distinguish the cause of anemia, make a differential diagnosis using simple laboratory testing, treat anemia, and track the patient's progress. However, iron deficiency is a common cause of anemia; providing an iron supplement without first defining the kind or cause of the anemia is ineffective. As a result, it is critical for the patient to arrive at an accurate diagnosis using primary care resources and to identify the spots that should be referred for additional assessment and treatment if necessary. So in this chapter, the leading causes of anemia and their treatments will be explained.
