Abstract

The first and second Zagreb eccentricity indices are defined respectively in terms of the vertex eccentricities as E-1(G) = Sigma(v is an element of V)((G)) epsilon(V)(2) and E-2(G) = Sigma(uv is an element of E(G)) epsilon(U)epsilon(V), where epsilon(U) denotes the eccentricity of the vertex U. In this paper, Zagreb eccentricity indices of a class of composite graphs, namely, thorny graphs are investigated. Explicit formulas for Zagreb eccentricity indices of these types of graphs are presented.
