Özet

The tacitness of knowledge has been studied by many researchers since Polanyi(1958). Tacit knowledge is based on experience; people acquire it through observation, imitation, and practice. Its diffusion requires training and face-to-face interaction. Explicit knowledge, on the other hand, can be precisely and formally articulated and it is easy to codify, document, transfer, share, and communicate. These dual characteristics of knowledge and its management are defined explicit-tacit, objective-subjective, information-knowledge, codified-personalized, social-technic in literature. In this study; the bilateral approach in knowledge management will be defined and in business view its primary metrics (due to knowledge management literature) will be summarized. Then, it is modeled with "International Delphi study".
