Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de lise tarih ders kitaplarında eğitim tarihi konularına

yer verilme oranlarını ortaya koymaktır. Bu çerçevede, araştırmada tarih ders kitaplarında

eğitim tarihi ile ilgili hangi kavramların ne sıklıkla kullanıldığı ve hangi temalarda yoğunluk

kazandığı ele alınmıştır. Bu araştırmada 9, 10, 11 ve 12. sınıf tarih ders kitaplarında eğitim

tarihi ile ilgili elde edilen veriler içerik çözümlemesiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Lise tarih ders

kitaplarının genelinde araştırma konusuyla ilgili olarak en sık tekrarlanan kavramların

sırasıyla; Medrese, Türk Tarih Kurumu, Enderun Mektebi, Sıbyan Mektepleri, Millet

Mektepleri ve Türk Dil Kurumu olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırma bulgularına göre, lise tarih

ders kitaplarında eğitim tarihine sınırlı oranlarda da olsa her sınıf düzeyinde yer verildiği

görülmüştür. Bu sevindirici bir durumdur.

The aim of this research is to demonstrate placed rates of education history in

high school history textbooks in Turkey. In this context, used concepts with frequency and

concentrated themes have studied related to the history of education in the history textbooks.

In this study, the data about the history of education in the 9, 10, 11 and 12th grade history

textbooks were evaluated with content analysis. Among the high school history textbooks, the most frequently repeated concepts related to the research subject respectively were

Madrasah, Turkish Historical Society, Enderun School, Sıbyan Schools, National Schools and

Turkish Language Association. According to the findings of the study, it was seen that the

history of education in high school history textbooks is included in each class level. Even it

was a limited proportion this is pleasing situation.
