Since the size of breccia particles and their shape and distribution might have major effects on the mechanical properties of breccia rocks, evaluation of the breccia particles on the surface appearances of the cubic test specimens has been performed using digital image processing techniques. The features extracted by the image processing techniques and results of the nondestructive laboratory tests have been used for the prediction of the unconfined compressive strength of the breccia rock specimens. Multiple linear regression analysis has been conducted for the evaluation of the unconfined compressive strength of the breccia rock specimens using nondestructive testing methods
