With the ever growing urbanisation, crushed stone quarries, which were formerly remote from the cities, have neighboured the cities. On the other hand, the supply of the aggregates that are necessary to be used for the infrastructure of the cities has to be close to the cities. This necessity results with the consideration and evaluation of the crushed stone quarries in terms of their environmental impact. In this paper dust emission measurements of a stone quarry close to the city have been carried out by considering fugitive dust sources and the dust map of the establishment has been drawn. In the conclusion of the study the values of fugitive dust amounts in the crushing-sieving facilities and in transportation courses have been set forth and compared.
