The unsteady evaporation of a single multicomponent droplet of size smaller than 150 mu m in diameter is studied. Granted that Raoult's law holds at the interface between the droplet surface and the gas medium. Evaporation is assumed to take place by diffusion with liquid phase reactions of constant rates with occuring within the droplet. Analytical expressions for the mass concentrations of components within and outside the droplet are obtained with the diffusivities D-li=10(-5)cm(2)/sec and D-vi=0.2cm(2)/sec.
