Özet

This chapter examines the transformative impact of digital technologies on photography and visual culture through the lens of post-photography. Drawing on theoretical frameworks from Jean Baudrillard, Hito Steyerl, Lev Manovich, and Joan Fontcuberta, it explores how artificial intelligence, algorithms, and digital manipulation reshape image production, aesthetic norms, and representation. Social media aesthetics, archival politics, and algorithmic decision-making processes are analyzed in connection with contemporary art practices. The chapter presents a critical discussion of artists such as Rafman, Rickard, Fontcuberta, Anadol, and Meyohas, whose works challenge traditional notions of authorship, visuality, and truth. Post-photography is positioned not only as a technical shift but as a cultural paradigm that redefines the relationship between data, identity, and visual experience.
