Acute non-Arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy is the most common optic neuropathy in the elderly population and characterised by unilateral painless sudden visual loss. Currently, there is not a well-established treatment modality. A 58-year-old man with sudden painless visual loss in his right eye of four days'duration was diagnosed to have acute non-Arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy. 2 mg intravitreal aflibercept injection was given once. The aim of this case report is to present the intravitreal aflibercept injection in unilateral non-Arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy and discuss the place of intravitreal anti-VEGFs.
