Özet

The numerical solution of the interior surface Helmholtz integral equation for toroidal pipes is presented. Acoustic surface pressures of various pipes in the shape of a quarter torus were calculated. Sound attenuation spectra of pipes possessing different bend sharpnesses are presented. A lower limit for the bend sharpness is determined for the attainment of a considerable level of sound attenuation. (C) 1999 Academic Press.
