Abstract

Leverage centrality is a novel centrality measure proposed to identify the critical nodes that are highly influential within the network. Leverage centrality considers the extent of connectivity of a node relative to the connectivity of its neighbors. The leverage centrality of a node in a network is determined by the extent to which its direct neighbors rely on that node for information. In this paper, leverage centralities of the nodes of infrastructure networks are computed and critical nodes within the network are identified.
