Abstract

At a hinged mouldboard plough that operates coupled to three point hicth system of tractor, the beam, mouldboard and share especially are subjected to large loads in variable soil conditions and operating speeds depending on tractive power. Hence, in production of mouldboard ploughs, it is of great significance to analyse these elements according to structural strength. So, the weight and production costs of ploughs are reduced by optimal design of these elements with determined mechanical properties. In working with a lighter plough, need for engine power of tractor decreases.
