Özet

Religious conquest which accrued during the tenth and eleventh centuries had various political, cultural and social agents. Thus caused because geographical proximity; likewise Germens, or political stimulation; likewise Anglo-Saxons, or as it seen in this paper Byzantine example was an entirely natural product of time and space alignment. Main intention of this paper is contribution of Religious aspect of interactions created by presence of Varangians at Byzantium, as it hard to follow, to Scandinavian religious conquest at Middle Ages. Primary sources of Byzantines, runic stones of Scandinavians and sagas as it written later are tried to be delegendarilize and demythologize for arguing their historical reality. By leaving Scandinavia and collaborating Byzantine Emperor as part of army service, their influence on their homeland argued historical reliability with social and cultural dimensions. So called effects of Byzantium on Scandinavian religious conquest is departed from others by without geographical proximity and political stimulation.
