The aim of this study is to develop a one-step sol-gel application method that enables both reactive dyeing and antibacterial properties to be imparted to cotton fabrics using fewer chemicals and water. This method, proposed as a sustainable alternative to traditional multi-step dyeing and finishing processes, reduces environmental impact while increasing process efficiency. In the study, sol-gel nanosol formulations containing Reactive Red 195 dye and antibacterial agents such as ZnO, SiQAC, and TTIP were prepared; TEOS was included as the initiator, and GPTMS as the cross-linker in the formulation. After the coating processes applied using the dip-coating method, the fabrics were fixed at different temperatures. According to the results obtained, the SM3 sample with high ZnO content showed high antibacterial activity against both Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria. Excellent results were obtained in all samples in the wash fastness tests with wet and dry rubbing; no significant decrease in dyeing efficiency was observed despite the addition of ZnO
