Özet

Energy production is one of the most important efforts of countries in recent days. Coal fired thermal power plants are the main source of energy in our country. But coal that is used as fossil fuel causes some solid wastes during the combustion and huge areas are needed for storage of these solid wastes. In this study solid waste storage of Yatagan termal power plant is examined to determine the future design of storage area which is over 470 m elevation and the slope stability studies have been carried out for the new designed plan.
