The patina techniques applied to the surface in the sculpture are the applications which apparently support the perception of the form integrity and that put the plastic affect to further forefront. In ceramics, except ordinary glazing process, surface applications such as undercoating, sooting, reduction, sgrafitto and underglaze decoration are the techniques that carry the work to the final. In this sense, ceramics and sculpture arts might relate to each other in terms of surface intervention.
