It is important to raise awareness about the
academic performances, research and development activities and other aspects of
universities in order for education institutions to provide a qualified
service. In this study, the importance weights of the monitoring and evaluation
criteria of the Turkish universities determined by the higher education
institution of Turkey (YÖK) will be determined by using the Fuzzy Analytic
Hierarchy Process (AHP) with an algorithm that takes into account the human
thinking structure and an algorithm of the ranking problem will be created in
the light of these weights. It is thought that this study is important because
of evaluating the performances of the universities and observing the progress
made compared to the previous year and focusing on the criteria that should be
taken into consideration in order for the universities of our country to rank
worldwide.
