Özet

In terms of reserves, Turkey’s mineral resource potential is considerable and diverse. Although many of the deposits are small by world standards, in terms of boron minerals, celestite, pumice, zeolite and marble Turkey has very large reserves and in the production of boron and celestite Turkey is one of the leading countries in the world. The mining sector also plays a principal role in the national economy. © 1993 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
