Abstract

Coupled with the accelerating technological advancements, global competition, and the transformations in human capital, organizations are prompted to undergo a continuous change (By 2005; Kotter 1996). Despite the ample research in the literature, change still is the representation of a management challenge for practitioners and scholars (Suddaby and Foster 2017). There is still no clarity in the conceptualization of the construct, which leads a lack of consensus on the definition of change management (Suddaby 2010). However, in general, change management is the reflection of a process that aims to modify an organization’s strategy, structure, procedures, and capabilities in order to adapt to the external environment (Moran and Brightman 2000).
