Özet

Collecting data from the ocean is crucial for the marine environment to meet the demands of public and private institutions. Smart buoys data collection and analysis from the ocean have been developing. The buoy used in the study was manufactured using a 3D FDM printer for economical and sustainable reasons. The main purpose of this study is to collect data by measuring critical parameters such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, motion characteristics and wind speed in the marine environment and analyze and evaluate these data by using a data analysis method. The study requirements were evaluated in detail and the design phase was carried out on this path. A novel buoy design has been implemented to minimize the size of the buoy; PLA filament material is used and PLA is selected as the most suitable material. As a result of the initial design, the basic concept of our buoy has been obtained, the design will be evaluated in terms of manufacturability, structural integrity, and buoyancy, first in a computer environment and then in scale by printing a scaled-down sample to check whether these tests coincide with reality, and improvements will be made for the design as a future work.
