Background and design: Various provoking factors have been affecting the clinical course of psoriasis and drugs have an important role among these factors. Materials and methods: A list of drugs were arranged which have been known to provoke psoriasis. Then, drugs that had been taken by 156 psoriasis patients who were hospitalized in our clinic were determined. Results: Among those patients, 47.43% (74 patients) used drugs that have been indicated as provoking psoriasis, 26.28% (41 patients) used drugs that have not been indicated as provoking psoriasis and 26.28% (41 patients) did not take any drug. Conclusion: The importance of not using provoking drugs in psoriasis patients has been emphasized.
