Özet

This paper presents the realization of communication process between the digital signal processing unit and the MATLAB/Simulink during the simulation of power converter with its controller. The application of the hardware in the loop is of great importance for the designer to estimate the effect of digital signal processing unit on the controller response and system stability. The DC to DC boost converter is operated as the maximum power point tracker and predicted current controller is used with the perturb and observe algorithm in the photovoltaic system. The circuit of the boost converter is kept in the Simulink whereas the entire controller is programmed on the digital signal processing unit.
