Abstract
Objective: This study aims to evaluate the satisfaction levels of specialty students enrolled in the Ege University Faculty of Dentistry's specialty program and the factors affecting these outcomes. Materials and Methods: A survey consisting of 38 questions, designed to measure satisfaction with faculty management, education and training, infrastructure, and facilities, was administered face-to-face to 89 participants who agreed to participate in the study. Additionally, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI TX-1 and STAI-TX-2) was used. Results: The study on the educational and institutional satisfaction of specialty students at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry revealed the following main findings: Students coming from outside the city generally reported higher levels of satisfaction with their education and work. Students with academic career goals had higher satisfaction with education, training, and research. While satisfaction with management, communication, and decision-making processes was generally positive, some areas were identified as needing improvement. Regarding infrastructure and facilities, satisfaction with cleaning services was high, but there was an issue with staff insufficiency. Conclusion: The results emphasize the need to develop strategies to improve the quality of education and student satisfaction.
