Abstract

We present a thermally controlled plasmonic substrate in contact with a liquid crystal offering spectral tunings ∼18.7 nm within ∼18°C at LC nematic phase. Nematic/isotropic transition also enables ∼12 nm spectral change only within ∼1°C.
