The magnetocaloric properties of the Ising binary alloys composed of arbitrary spin values have been determined by using effective field theory. For determining the efficiency of the magnetocaloric effect in the binary alloy, the quantities of interest such as isothermal magnetic entropy change and refrigerant capacity have been calculated for various values of spin and concentration. It is shown that by changing the concentration we can tune the magnetocaloric performance. Also, it has been shown that greater refrigerant capacity can be obtained for intermediate concentration values in comparison with the limiting concentration values.
