Özet

We demonstrate multi-wavelength all-optical packet header recognition using a periodically-poled lithium niobate (PPLN) device and fiber Bragg grating arrays as optical correlators. The number of header recognition modules required in an optical cross-connect is drastically decreased by our method. We simultaneously recognize the header bits on tivo 2.5-Gbit/s WDM channels and route them to different output ports of a 2x2 cross-connect.
