Özet
The accurate representation of the nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) structural elements through effective modeling methods is critically important in determining the seismic safety of structures. In particular, the complex behavior that arises from the combination of shear, flexural, and axial forces in shear walls under reversible-cyclic loading necessitates using advanced numerical modeling approaches. One such approach is the nonlinear truss analogy method, in which panel elements are created based on reinforced concrete components' vertical and horizontal reinforcement. The angle between the diagonal elements within the panels and the horizontal axis is determined, and the numerical model of the system is developed by defining concrete struts and reinforcement areas based on their zones of influence. This study examined the cyclic behavior of reinforced concrete shear walls with different aspect ratios using the fiber section model and the truss analogy modeling approaches. Within the scope of the study, hybrid models were developed using data obtained from experimental tests on walls dominated by flexural or shear effects, and these models were compared and evaluated in detail in terms of lateral load-displacement relationships and sectional deformations.
