Özet

Bisphosphonate therapy is recommended in prostate cancer patients with bone metastases, even in the absence of symptoms. The incidence of osteonecrosis in patients treated with bisphosphonate was reported to vary between 1-21%. Ostenecrosis should be kept in mind in patients who develop signs and symptoms such as pain in the jaw, soft tissue swelling during treatment with bisphosphonates due to bone metastases. The aim of this study was to investigate a case with osteonecrosis of the mandible due to bisphosphonate treatment.
