Özet

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate bondstrength of laser sintered Co-Cr and cast Co-Cr and NiCralloys to porcelain using 3-point-bending test (3PBtest).Material and Methods: 3 different metalframeworks were used in the current study: lasersintered Co-Cr, cast Co-Cr and cast Ni-Cr. Fifteenspecimens per group were prepared according to ISO9693 standard (1999) and tested using 3PB test. Results were analyzed using one-way ANOVA followedby Tukey multiple comparison test (α=0,05).Results: Mean bending modulus and flexural bendingstrength were statistically significantly different among3 groups (P=0,0001). The lowest mean bendingmodulus was observed for laser sintered Co-Cr group(77±6,5 GPa) and the highest value was observed forcast Co-Cr group (247±16 GPa). Pairwise comparisonshave shown statistically significant differencesbetween all compared groups. When mean bendingstrength values were compared, the highest value wasobserved for laser sintered Co-Cr group (87±9 MPa).Although mean flexural strength value of cast Co-Crgroup (78±13 MPa) was lower than the laser sinteredone, the difference was not statistically significant(P=0,094). However, the mean bending strength ofcast Ni-Cr (45±11 MPa) was significantly lower thanthe Co-Cr groups (P=0,0001).Conclusion: Within the limitations of this study, itcan be concluded that laser sintered Co-Cr frameworksestablish a strong bond with porcelain.
