Abstract

In this study, thermal conductivity, thermal resistivity, specific heat capacity and thermal diffusivity of sand-

bentonite mixtures were investigated. Information will be given about how the thermal properties of soils

are measured by the thermal needle method and about the thermal analysis device Tempos that works

with this method. Finally, the change of the thermal properties of the saturated soil will be discussed

depending on the fine fraction.
