Özet

Investigations based on the concept of smart cities has an important place among the literature studies today. Many new approaches based on this concept are being developed, especially in big cities. Studies such as optimal planning of the city public transportation network (PTN), data mining and big data studies on the data collected through this network-based system, studies to improve travel quality, and development of travel recommendation systems are increasingly important studies in this field.

In this presentation, various models such as studies on optimizing the public transportation network, optimization models created using city smart card data, optimal travel recommendation models, and PTN-based economic evaluation models of real estate in the city will be discussed. Information on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies developed in these studies, such as optimization, data mining, soft computing, especially fuzzy logic, and the application results on the example of Izmir, the 3rd largest city of Turkey, will be given.
