Abstract

Elderly cancer patients are high-risk patients in terms of malnutrition. Malnutrition is associated with high morbidity/mortality, decreased quality of life, an increase in oncological toxicity and a decrease in efficacy. Body mass index (BMI), weight loss and serum albumin are commonly used parameters in the screening of malnutrition. It is very important to give nutritional support to patients who are at risk with the screening of malnutrition in the early period.
