9th INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL TEXTILES CONGRESS, İzmir, Türkiye, 17 Ekim 2025 - 18 Ocak 2026, ss.144-146, (Özet Bildiri)
This study focuses on the development of a suitable mask fabric aimed at reducing Volatile
Organic Compounds (VOCs) exposure during inhalation. The applicability of carbon-based
adsorbents, specifically activated carbon (AC) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), was
investigated to enhance the adsorption capacity of textile surfaces against VOCs. The research aimed
to improve the VOC capture performance of nonwoven fabrics composed of polyester/polyamide by
applying these carbon-based materials.
