Abstract

India provides social security services to a very large geography and a very large population. This service may vary between central administrations and states. The social security system consists of many complex programs. In India, programs differ in terms of contributions, offering administration, benefits provided and organization type. The breadth of the informal economy, inadequacies in legislation, and inequalities in access to social security services are among the main reasons for the exacerbation of existing problems. Considering the size of the country's population subject to the lower income group, the importance of the social security system emerges spontaneously. It is a must for the Indian social security system to be supported by the implementation of legal measures. It will be easier to have an ideal system if workers, employers, government and non-governmental organizations act in harmony and determination

Hindistan çok geniş bir coğrafya da ve çok büyük bir nüfusa sosyal güvenlik hizmeti sunmaktadır. Bu hizmet merkezi idare ve eyaletler bazında farklılık gösterebilmektedir. Sosyal güvenlik sistemi karmaşık pek çok programdan meydana gelmektedir. Hindistan’da programlar katkı payları, sunan idare, sağlanan menfaatler ve örgütlenme şekline göre farklılık gösterir. Kayıt dışı ekonominin genişliği, mevzuat yetersizlikleri, sosyal güvenlik hizmetlerine ulaşmadaki fırsat eşitsizlikleri mevcut sorunların daha da büyümesinin temel nedenleri arasındadır. Ülkenin alt gelir grubuna tabi nüfusunun genişliği dikkate alındığında sosyal güvenlik sisteminin önemi kendiliğinden ortaya çıkmaktadır. Hindistan sosyal güvenlik sisteminin de yasal önlemlerin uygulama tarafından desteklenmesi bir zorunluluktur. İşçi, işveren, devlet ve sivil toplum kuruluşlarının uyumlu bir şekilde ve kararlılıkla hareket etmeleri ideal bir sisteme sahip olmayı kolaylaştıracaktır.
